Plastic Densifier Agglomerator Compactor Machine Description
The plastic densifier (plastic film agglomerator) can immediately granulate waste thermoplastic thin film and products with wall thickness less than 2 mm.
It can agglomerate waste or thin film made of soft polyvinyl chloride (PVC), high and low-density polyethylene (HDPE/LDPE), polypropylene (PP), polystyrene (PS), other thermoplastic plastics, as well as foam polystyrene waste products for granulation.
Working Principle
Waste material is fed into the machine pot body. The material is quickly cut by the high-speed rotating turning blade and the fixed blade shearing action. The material then moves along the pot body wall due to the centrifugal force of the knife disc.
At the same time, the material turns up and down by the paddle and moves from all sides toward the center of the pot body. The friction of the material itself and the friction against the pot wall and blades generate significant frictional heat under high speed, causing the material temperature to rise to a semi-plastic condition and form small lumps.
Before the materials block, a pre-determined amount of water is sprayed onto the material. The cold water contacts the hot materials, gasifies, and quickly removes surface heat, causing the material surface to cool rapidly and avoid blocking.
Then, through the crushing action between the rotary blade and fixed blade, the material is cut into particles (irregular size materials). During crushing, appropriate color pigments may also be added as needed.
