Equipment Placement and Grounding
The plastic pelletizer equipment should be placed in a well-ventilated location to ensure that motor heat is dissipated, effectively extending its service life. The machine must be properly grounded to prevent electric leakage and other safety hazards.
Regular Maintenance Checks
Regularly check the screws of the knives. After a new machine has been used for one hour, use tools to tighten the screws of the movable and fixed knives to strengthen the fixity between the blades and the knife holder.
Regularly add lubricant to the bearings to ensure proper lubrication. Check the sharpness of the knives to minimize unnecessary damage to other parts caused by dull blades. Regularly check the belt for slackness and adjust tension as needed.
Cleaning and Parts Replacement
Before starting for the second time, clean debris left in the machine chamber to reduce starting resistance. Regularly open the inertia cover and pulley cover, and clean the ash outlet under the flange to prevent powder discharged from the crushing chamber from entering the rotor bearing.
When replacing knives, pay attention to gap adjustment between the movable knife and the fixed knife to ensure cutting effectiveness.
Daily Inspection and Safety
Carry out daily inspections to check the lubrication of each lubrication point, the temperature rise and noise of each rotating part, and the vibration of the unit. Observe safety operation regulations. Do not overload the plastic granulator.
Ensure that safety equipment (such as mechanical guards) is complete and reliable, and eliminate unsafe factors in a timely manner.
Cleaning and Organization
Keep the equipment clean inside and out, with no oil contamination, oil leakage, or air leakage on sliding surfaces, screws, racks, gearboxes, oil holes, and other locations. Clean up chips, debris, and dirt around the plastic granulator, and maintain a tidy working environment.
Tools, fittings, and workpieces should be placed neatly; pipes and electrical lines should be organized.
Lubrication and Oil Changes
Inject oil or change oil on schedule, ensuring continuous oil supply with no dry friction. Oil pressure should be normal, oil level visible, oil circuit unobstructed, and oil quality meeting relevant requirements.
A new reducer that has run for 500 hours needs to have its oil replaced. Thereafter, regularly check the oil quality. Oil mixed with impurities or that has aged or deteriorated must be replaced at any time.
