Some heavy-duty industrial waste grinders with high output are commonly used in recycling lines. They are typically placed behind primary shredders as a secondary size reduction stage to obtain smaller and uniformly sized pieces.
6 Major Considerations for Industrial Waste Crusher Machine
1. Secure Installation
The industrial waste crusher and its power unit must be firmly installed. If the crusher requires fixed installation, it should be mounted on a cement foundation.
If the industrial waste crusher is intended for mobile operation, the unit should be installed on a base made of angle iron. Ensure that the belt wheel grooves of the power machine (diesel engine or electric motor) and the plastic crusher are aligned in the same plane.
2. Post-Installation Inspection
After the industrial waste crusher is installed, check the tightness of all fasteners. If any are loose, tighten them. At the same time, verify that the belt tension is appropriate.
3. Pre-Startup Checks
Before starting the plastic crusher, first rotate the rotor to check whether the knives, hammers, and rotor move flexibly and reliably. Confirm there is no collision inside the crushing chamber.
Check that the rotation direction of the rotor matches the direction indicated by the arrow. Also verify that both the power machine and the plastic crusher are properly lubricated.
4. Do Not Replace the Pulley Arbitrarily
Do not arbitrarily replace the pulley. An incorrect pulley size may cause excessive speed, leading to potential hazards, or may result in lower speed that reduces the working efficiency of the crusher.
5. Warm-Up Run
After the industrial waste crusher starts, allow it to run for 2 to 3 minutes. If no abnormal phenomena are observed, normal operation can begin.
6. Continuous Operation Monitoring
Always pay attention to the operation of the industrial waste crusher during use. First, ensure that feeding is uniform to prevent blockage of the crushed material. Second, avoid prolonged overload operation.
If abnormal conditions such as vibration, unusual noise, excessively high bearing or body temperature, or material spray are detected, shut down immediately. Eliminate the fault before restarting the machine.
