1. Plastic crushers should be placed in a ventilated position to ensure that the motor’s heat is dissipated, extending its life.
2. The machine should be kept well grounded.
3. Bearings should be regularly filled with lubricant to ensure proper lubrication between the bearings.
4. Regularly check the tool screws. After a brand new machine has been used for 1 hour, use tools to tighten the moving knife and fixed knife screws, strengthening the fixity between the blades and the knife frame.
5. Before the second start, clear any remaining debris in the machine chamber to reduce starting resistance. Regularly open the inertia cover and pulley cover, and clear the ash outlet below the flange, as powder discharged from the crusher chamber can enter the shaft bearings.
6. To ensure cutter sharpness, regularly check the tool to maintain its sharpness, reducing unnecessary damage to other components caused by blunt blades.
7. When replacing knives, the clearance between the moving knife and fixed knife should be: 0.8mm for crushers above 20HP, and 0.5mm for crushers below 20HP. The thinner the recycled material, the larger the gap can be adjusted.
8. Regularly check the belt for looseness, and adjust the tightness in time.
9. When a new machine is in use, open the crushing chamber every 4 days (with the machine stopped) and re-tighten the nuts of the blades one by one with a wrench.
