The overall goal of most plastic recycling programs is to turn scrap and non-conforming parts back into a form
similar in size and characteristics to the virgin material being processed.
This “regrind” often retains the proper material characteristics, such as strength or optical qualities, to be
blended with the original resin and reused to make more parts. This process is both cost-efficient and
environmentally friendly.
Plastic Shredder

Plastic Crusher (Granulator)
WANROOETECH plastic granulators or crushers are very effective for post-processing of gates, runners, and small to
medium-sized parts. They typically produce 1/8″ to 3/4″ size particles, with most particles ranging between 1/4″ and
3/8″.
Granulators are most commonly found near injection molding machines but can also be used with other processes such as
extrusion, blow molding, and thermoforming.
Three common types of granulators include central and special units, mainly used for thermoforming in addition to
press-side applications. However, there are more granulator technology options available to customize the unit for
any broad or specific application.
Plastic Pulverizer
The pulverizer reduces 5/16″ particles into powder, achieving a fineness of 20 to 120 mesh. This powder is typically
used for mixing, blending, PVC recycling, or rotomolding.
