1. Secure Installation of Equipment
The plastic granulator and power unit should be installed firmly. If the plastic crusher requires fixed long-term installation, it should be mounted on a cement foundation.
If the plastic crusher needs to be mobile, the unit should be installed on a base made of angle iron. It must be ensured that the power machine (diesel engine or electric motor) and the plastic crusher pulley grooves are in the same rotary plane.
2. Post-Installation Inspection
After installation of the plastic granulator, check the tightness of all fasteners. If any are loose, tighten them. At the same time, verify that the belt tension is appropriate.
3. Pre-Startup Checks
Before starting the plastic granulator, rotate the rotor by hand. Check whether the teeth, claws, hammer, and rotor operate flexibly and reliably, and whether there is any collision inside the crushing chamber.
Verify that the rotor rotation direction is consistent with the machine’s arrow direction, and confirm that both the power machine and the plastic crusher are properly lubricated.
4. Do Not Replace the Pulley Arbitrarily
Do not casually replace the pulley. Doing so could cause the speed to become too high, resulting in an explosion hazard in the crushing chamber, or the speed to become too low, affecting the efficiency of the crusher.
5. Idle Run Before Feeding
The plastic crusher should be run idle for 2 to 3 minutes after starting. Only when no abnormalities are observed should material be fed for operation.
6. Continuous Operation Monitoring
During operation, always pay attention to the running of the plastic granulator. First, feed material evenly to prevent blockage of the crushing chamber. Second, avoid long-term overload operation.
If vibration, abnormal noise, excessively high bearing or body temperature, material spraying outward, or other abnormal phenomena are observed, immediately stop for inspection and troubleshoot before continuing to work.
