20 years focusing on recycling
Why recycle the old tires?
The high-calorie value of the waste tire has made it a good alternative fuel such as the energy-intensive industry such as cement plant, power plant, pulp mill and paper mill. According to the US Environmental Protection Agency, the tires are as much as possible during the burning, 25-50% higher than coal, but 100-200% more wood.
Waste tires have been used as supplemental fuels for coal and wood. For these years, more and more combustion plants have used waste tires, not only because they have high energy content, but also because they are cheaper than coal, and the resulting emissions is cleaner, and low moisture content. The Test of the US Environmental Protection Department showed that the heavy metals contained in (1) tire ash residue were less than some coal, and the nitrogen oxide discharged by tire combustion was less than high sulfur coal.
The US Environmental Protection Agency is a way to be schedulous to the old tires rather than landfill. Due to fire risks and health reasons, the stacked tires are not good (mouse, mosquitoes, and other organisms that cause disease can be quickly reproduced in the stacked tires).
The United States produces millions of waste tires each year, in which a considerable part is made into new products after recycling, or for civil engineering, or as a tire derived fuel (TDF). According to its more than 15 years of experience in more than 80 manufacturers, the US Environmental Protection Agency has confirmed that the tire derived fuel (TDF) is a feasible choice for alternative stone fuel.
According to the scale of the combustion equipment, the manufacturer can use the entire tire or tire chopped form, that is, the tire derived fuel.
What is garbage derivative fuel?
Rubfish derivative fuel, referred to as RDF, due to the high thermal value of the waste tire, stable combustion, easy to transport, easy to store, secondary pollution, low emissions, etc., can be used as excellent The fuel use, combustion efficiency is better than coal, petroleum and wood, and has the advantage of low moisture and ash content, and is a well-potential fuel. The current waste tire combustion utilization method is as follows:
a. Energy is generated or incinerated using the energy of the waste rubber tire combustion.
b. Using waste tires replacement coal and oil for fuel for cement kiln, the steel in the tire is converted into iron oxide, sulfur last changes to a gypsum, both substances are cement clinker components. The waste tires are directly burned for cement kiln, which does not affect the quality of cement.
C. After the waste tire was broken, then a certain ratio was mixed with other fuels, TIRE Derived Fuel (TDF), and the blast furnace was blown instead of coal, oil and coke used as a fuel or instead of coal for coal. Fire power generation. Direct combustion of waste tires produces diuspine organic pollutants such as dioxide, furan, and zinc, cadmium, nickel, lead and other heavy metal contaminants. Traditional waste tire dilling and incineration methods have been banned in some developed countries due to harm to the environment, such as the United States and Japan.
Tire TDF Recycling Process:
The TDF technology process of Wantro-developed TDF technology has adopted intelligent control, video surveillance, remote operation and maintenance technology to achieve harmless, resource and industrialization of tire treatment. The specific production process is as follows;
1. Conveyor belt: the use of the car and truck tires into the shredder;
2. Double shaft shredder: use: the tire tear machine into a fragment of about 50-150;
3. Conveyor belt: use: Transmit the torn material from the bottom of the shredder;
4. Recovering belt: use: Put the 5 # roller screen screen out of the material that is more than 150, send back the shredder, reinten, so that it meets the requirements of TDF size
5. Roller screening: use: to screen and control the size of the torn material, meet the requirements of TDF, the size is less than 150mm, enter the next processing process; larger than 50mm size, re-return the shredder, re-shred the machine ;
6. conveyance belt: use: to deliver the material of the roller screen to the distance;
TDF scrap tires are cut into pieces, usually 1 to 2 inches. Not only should the tires are reduced during the pulverization process, but also to remove fabric and metal wires using a strong magnet. Because these processes require TDF, so better overall cost of the tire, but manufacturers still a need, because not all of the combustion apparatus can receive a whole tire.
Some cement plants use the entire tire in the kiln because they have a large burning equipment, and the wire adds iron to make clinker. On the other hand, paper and pulp mills need to remove the TDF wire, to prevent blockage of the boiler feedwater systems and in the ash will be sold to farmers doped iron.
TDF is divided into several grades, and there is a wireless TDF is 50% more expensive than ordinary TDF.
Use TDF industry
Scrap tire fuel in the cement industry are used more than any other industry. According to records of the US Environmental Protection Agency, the US cement kilns use about 53 million tires per year. As of 2006, state and local environmental agencies have approved the 48 cement plants in 21 states use TDF.
Cement Plant uses tires as a fuel for fabricating clinker, and clinker is a major component of silicate cement.
Pulp and papermaking
The pulp and the papermaking industry use 26 million tires for boiler fuels every year. Pulp and paper mills use TDF instead of the entire tire because the wire will block its feed system.
Power's boiler uses approximately 24 million tires per year. The boiler by burning coal to generate electricity. Due to the high calorific value and low cost of TDF, TDF plants now used as a supplemental fuel coal.
Industrial or institutional boilers
Industrial boilers are usually smaller than the power company's boiler, which also uses TDF as a supplement to mixed fuel. Each year, about 17 million tires for industrial boilers.
