WHAT IS A PLASTIC GRANULATOR?

The plastic granulator is a key equipment for plastic recycling processing, mainly composed of the extruder body (including extrusion, transmission, heating and cooling systems) and the die head. It changes the physical properties of plastic through high-temperature melting, plasticization, and extrusion processes to produce granular products. This machine is suitable for the regeneration and color mixing granulation of various plastics such as PP, PE, PS, etc. It is widely used in the processing of waste plastic films, woven bags, beverage bottles, etc.

WHAT WILL A PLASTIC GRANULATOR REDUCE?

The plastic granulators are ideal for all types of plastics, uPVC, HDPE, LDPE, PET & PP to name but a few. But it will depend on the size of the granulator. From small off-cuts made by injection and blow moulding machines called sprues to plastic drinks bottles and uPVC window frames to large plastic underground piping made from HDPE or LDPE.
